Myrna Whitten

Myrna Crockett Whitten, age 81, of Dallas, GA, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010. She was born April 21, 1929, in New Gloucester, Maine, and was preceded in death by, her parents, Norris & Maude Crockett; husband, Preston Bryant Whitten, Sr.; and a son, Chandler Bryant Whitten. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, Preston Bryant Whitten, Jr. & Melissa Fowler of Dallas, GA; daughters, Lynda Willis & T. J. VanWagner of Powder Springs, GA, and Pamela & Larry Kropff of Powder Springs, GA; sister, Marilyn Bradbury of Hollis, ME; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held Monday, July 5, 2010, at 12:00 PM, from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 4, 2010, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
