With great sadness, we announce the passing of Nathan Lee Pete, who left this world on March 5, 2025, at 23. Born on October 15, 2001, in Austell, GA, Nathan was a cherished son, brother, uncle, husband and father. Nathan was dedicated to serving his country in the Marine Corps. He was currently stationed in Japan and had earned the rank of Corporal. Nathan was a proud Marine. In his spare time, Nathan enjoyed video games and his love for his family was evident.
Nathan leaves behind a loving family who will forever remember him. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Hazel Pete; his father, Lavoyd Pete; his mother, Sandy Myers; his beloved daughter, Delilah Pete; and his siblings, Ashli Hinds (Marlon), Joshua Pete (Kayla), and Jordan Johnson; nieces Rileigh, Nova, Aliyah, and nephew Beau. His loved ones will carry his memory in their hearts as they navigate through this difficult time.
Funeral services for Nathan will be held at Sam Clark Chapel in Hiram, GA, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, beginning at noon with Dr. Robert Bryant officiating. Before the service, there will be a visitation at Clark Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. After the service, Nathan will be laid to rest at Paulding Memorial in Hiram with military honors.
As we honor Nathan's life and service, we invite friends and family to celebrate his legacy and the beautiful moments he shared with us all. Nathan will be forever missed, but his spirit and love will remain with those who knew him.
