Neida Freeman Watkins, age 82, of Austell, GA, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2008. She was born in Paulding County, on May 16, 1925, to the late T. A. & Nannie Ethel Freeman. Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, Guy C. Watkins, Sr.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Carlton Watkins & his wife, Barbara of Warwick, RI; daughter, Nannette Watkins of Austell, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Harold A. & Elizabeth Freeman of Buford, GA and Clive & June Freeman of Dallas, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Myrtle George of Buford, GA, and Bertha & Don Nutting of Hiram, GA; brother-in-law, Clyde Cole of Dallas; sister-in-law, Sandra Freeman of Marietta; grandchildren, Wendy W. Weston and Teri Watkins; great-grandchild, Tyler Joseph Weston; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 3:00pm, from New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Keith Stell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
