Nirva A. Longchamp, age 48, of Hiram, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013. She was born on January 21, 1965, in Haiti, to the late Jean and Marie Longchamp, and was preceded in death by her son, Jefferson Joseph. Ms. Longchamp worked as a hairstylist and was a member of Philadelphie French Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Douglasville, GA.
Survivors include, husband, Lesly Joseph of Hiram, GA; son, Jordaens Joseph of Hiram, GA; sisters, Ange Lucnie Roche & Richard Adelson of New Jersey, Gabrielle Bastien & Ricardo St Georges of Haiti, Marly Longchamp Grandoit & Carmelot Grandoit of New York, Sandra Longchamp of Orlando, FL, and Sheila & Adony Alexis of Canada; brother, Ringo Longchamp of Haiti; grandchildren, Jaki Joseph of Hiram and J’heneva Diamond Joseph of Florida; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013, at 11 a.m., from Philadelphie French Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Douglasville, GA, with Pastor Jean Hercule Toussaint officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 10, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
