Norma W. Gann, age 69, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. God called one of His most precious angels as she said goodbye to all her pain and suffering. She is walking on streets of gold with her father and mother, Don & Helen Wray. She retired from Bell South after 34 years of service. Norma was a very active member of Wayside Baptist Church, doing everything from delivering snacks, to taking food to the sick, always serving God in some way.
She was a loving Mother to Lynn Morgan & husband, D. J. of Dallas, David Gann & wife, Cee Cee of Hiram, and Billy Gann & wife, Tammy of Dallas; she was Grandmomma Pete to Tiffany Mathis and Kimberly Bass, a Nanny to Sheri Corcoran and Heidi Mathis, and a Mawmaw to Michelle Hunter; a caring Great-Grandmother to Sean Corcoran, Drake Corcoran, Amelia Ruth Mathis and Owen Mathis. We will see you again one day. We love you.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 21, 2010, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Billy Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park, with Dennis Teal, Mike Bell, Jeff Smith, Audie Byrd, David Pace and Dan Newton serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and all day on Friday.
