Opal Collins Gregory, age 75, of Dallas, GA, formerly of Raeford, NC, died Monday, January 16, 2012, in her home. She was born August 5, 1936, in Surry County, NC, to the late, Clinton Harvey Collins and the late, Opal Irene Cobler Collins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clinton Harvey Collins, Jr. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Raeford, NC.
Survivors include the love of her life, Arthur K. Shuler of Dallas, GA;
daughters & sons-in-law, Debbie Ganns & husband, Kevin of Woodstock, GA, Karen Leonard & husband, Rick of Cumming, GA and Tina Kaercher & husband, Steve of Gainesville, FL; brother, James Collins of Graham, NC; sisters & brothers-in-law, Nancy Cox & husband, Tom of Knoxville, IA, Betty Barefoot & husband, James of Raeford, NC and Laura Collins of Sanford, NC; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 11:00 AM, from Community United Methodist Church in Raeford, NC, with Pastor Gil Wise officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford, NC, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
