Otis Tyree Flemister, age 66, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2007. He was born on April 16, 1940 in Dallas, GA to the late Alfred Franklin and Emma G. Flemister. He was a member of Rocky Ford Baptist Church in Dallas.
Surviving are his sisters, Agnes McClarity of Rockmart, GA, Bertha Fitzgerald of Hiram, GA, Gussie King of Buffalo, NY, Emma Reynolds of Dallas, GA, Eunice Turner of Kennesaw, GA, Irma Sutherland of Marietta, GA; brothers and sister-in-laws, George Snodie and Ellen Flemister of Dallas, GA and Thomas Ellis and Bobby Jean Flemister of Dallas, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Rocky Ford Baptist Church in Dallas, GA with Pastor Stanley Freeland Sr. officiating. The interment will follow in Rocky Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Flemister will lie in state at the church for 1 hour prior to the service.
