Pamela Fortner

Pamela Christine Fortner, also known as Vega, passed away on January 31, 2024.  She was born in Marietta, GA, on April 18, 1982. 

Pamela's creative spirit knew no bounds. She loved to paint and express her creativity through many forms. Besides painting, she had real talent as a hair stylist and loved working with her clients to make their dreams come true. Pamela poured her heart and soul into raising her two beloved sons, Christian and Collin. She loved them deeply and was always there for her family. Her passionate and giving nature will be remembered and Pamela will be deeply missed. 

Pamela is preceded in death by her biological father, Howard Dennis Fortner; her grandparents, Bennie and Freddie Mae Boggs; grandmother, Sue Pelfrey; grandfather, Howard Fortner; grandparents, Ralph and Helen Louise Dobbs; and uncle, Larry Boggs.

Pamela Christine Fortner is survived by her mother, Elaine Dobbs; her father, Gary Dobbs; her cherished sons, Christian Taylor Isbell and Collin Maddox Owens; her brother, Kevin Dobbs and his wife Jordan Dobbs; sister-in-law, Dawn "Dechelle" Cole and her husband Lamar Cole; aunts, Becky Dobbs and Suzanne Ferguson; and cousin, Amanda Ferguson. 

The family will receive friends and loved ones at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2024, for visitation from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services for Mrs. Pamela will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 7:00 PM with Reverend Billy Wood officiating. Interment will be held Friday, February 9, 2024, at Sweetwater Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.
