Pamela Lynn Sargent, beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, peacefully passed away on September 30, 2023. Born on January 20, 1955, in Douglasville, Georgia, Pamela was a compassionate and loving soul who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Pamela dedicated her life to her family, proudly fulfilling the roles of a supportive wife, nurturing mother, and doting Nanny. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love created an atmosphere of comfort and joy in her household. Pamela's family meant everything to her, and she selflessly cared for them with relentless devotion.
Pamela possessed a wealth of practical wisdom and life experience that surpassed any degree. She found fulfillment as a homemaker and seamstress, skillfully crafting beautiful garments and many other things. Her talent and creativity were evident in every piece she lovingly stitched.
Pamela embraced life's simple pleasures with open arms, finding solace in serene moments spent on the front porch, engaging in heartfelt conversations with family, friends, and neighbors. She had an infectious love for music, and her favorites, such as Alan Jackson and Elvis Presley, served as the soundtrack to her life's journey. Pamela found serenity in nature, particularly during camping trips and visits to the lake. These moments brought her immeasurable joy, allowing her to relish in the beauty of the world around her.
As we bid farewell to Pamela, we remember her as a beacon of strength, compassion, and unwavering love. She had a gift for caregiving and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of friends and community members alike.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Louise Gates; and her sisters, Earlene Beavers, Violet Driver, and Barbara Norton.
Pamela leaves behind a legacy of love and countless cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted husband of more than 50 years, Daniel Sargent; her loving daughters, Tabatha (Jeff) Watson and Misty Sargent (Scott Bassett); her adored grandchildren, Nickelous Watson, Taylor Watson, Owen Evans, Danielle Evans, Bryan Rebello, and Seth Evans. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Honey Rebello; her sister and brothers, Gail (Stanley) Bohannon, Tony Gates, and Billy Gates; her and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Pamela's family will receive friends Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel. A funeral service honoring Pamela's life will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 12:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel. Immediatley follwing her service, Pamela will be laid to rest at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The ceremony will be a celebration of her remarkable life and the lasting impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects and offer condolences during this time of remembrance.
