Patrick Dover McCloud Jr.

Patrick Dover McCloud Jr., age 32, also known as “Kool Pat”, passed away alongside his soulmate, Dani Carteaux, on Saturday May 23rd 2020 in a motorcycle accident. He was born on August 12th, 1987 to Patrick and Ana McCloud. Patrick worked as a mechanic, which he enjoyed. Patrick loved working with his hands and turning wrenches. He could make anyone laugh and was always acting goofy and cracking jokes. Our family couldn’t stay mad with him for very long because he would get us laughing.. Patrick loved many things: he loved riding his Harley, aka “Katie Mae”; he loved playing music- he would pick up any instrument and play, but he liked to bite down on the drums; he loved hanging with his friends, especially on Ridge Road; he loved spending time outdoors and he loved being a free spirit and having a good time. Patrick was an encouragement to a lot of people. He would check up on folks even if it was to say “you’re doing real good n stuff.” Patrick chose to see the best in people. He was a very trusting and forgiving person, and he had such a big and open heart for everyone. Words cannot express our family’s and friends’ grief over the loss of both Patrick and Dani. We love y’all both so much.  Life will never be the same without him and his comic relief.  He was a loving father, boyfriend, son, brother, uncle and grandson who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his son, Kallen Lief McCloud of Vila Rica, GA, daughter, Pagan Lare, sisters; Stephanie Khomyakov and her husband, Viktor of Douglasville, GA, Laura Vinson and her husband, Jared of Douglasville, GA, grandmother, Virginia Vega of Temple, GA, and his nephew, Aleksey Khomyakov.
