Paul Ridley Conn, 87, of Dallas, GA passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. He was born on September 12, 1933, in Atlanta (Riverside City), GA. Mr. Conn was Baptist. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. Mr. Conn was an avid Braves fan and loved listening to gospel music. He took great pride in growing his tomatoes in his garden. Mr. Conn served in the US Army. He was retired after working for Shower Doors of America for more than 30 years as a purchasing agent.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Sue Garner Conn; sons, William "Bill" Lee Conn of Dallas and Robert “Bobby” Daryl (Christine) Conn of Dallas; one sister, Jean Cone; three grandchildren, Paul Conn, Wyatt Conn, and Kyle Conn.
Mr. Conn was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Esther Croker Conn, and his brother-in-law, Bill Cone.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Rich officiating. In accordance with his wishes, he will then be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Wednesday, January 27, from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service due to Covid-19 concerns and/or the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing be practiced to prevent the spread of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Conn safe.
