Paul Joseph Schuh passed away on March 12, 2023. He was born on August 5, 1943 to the late Peter and Lorraine Schuh in Madison, Wisconsin. Paul worked as a truck driver for over 50 years. After retiring at 62, he went right back to work at his church. He was a dedicated member of Legacy Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher. He loved working at the church and adored the children there. He enjoyed going on mission trips with his wife, Linda, and helping her with her kindergarten class. Paul was fun, loving, and did not meet a stranger. He loved people and getting to know them. Besides his love for the Lord, he really loved his wife and family. Linda was his entire world and he cherished his family. Paul was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his daughter, Nikki Willis; his sisters, Nancy Cords, Rita Schuh, Laurie Schuh; and brothers, Peter Schuh and Michael Schuh. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Linda Schuh; his children, Jackie (Michael) Black of Dallas, Ga., Kristine Schuh of Rockmart, Ga., Deborah Ingram of Dallas, Ga.; step-daughter, Janet (Todd) Lawrence of Dallas, Ga.; and step-son, Wesley (Jodi) Postell of Dallas, Ga.; Sister, Vickie (Michael) Frueger of Waunakee, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Keith, Tory, Seth, Janie, Billy, Dakota, Copper, Justin, Macey, Bailey, Jay, Morgan, Jennifer, Bryce; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Finn, Porter, twins, Claire and Jill, Luke, Jackson, Whitley, Westi, Eva, Tucker, Ava, Jewel, Daisy, JT, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral services for Mr. Schuh will begin at 2:00 pm with Reverend Alton Wilson, Reverend Frank Hamby, and Dr. Ryan Vargas officiating. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens with Justin Willis, Billy Ingram, Keith Kmitta, Seth Black, Blake Laurie, Michael Black, and Dakota Kivett serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gene Anderson, Jeff Atcheson, and George Bolinger.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made towards Legacy of Bethlehem at Legacy Baptist Church.
