Peggy June Eberhart

August 23, 1942 — April 17, 2020

Peggy June Eberhart, age 77, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2020 at her home. She was born on August 23, 1942 in Blue Creek, AL, to her late parents; Richard and Frances Patterson. Mrs. Eberhart worked for many years in the cafeteria of Hiram Elementary School. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Marley. Peggy also never missed an episode of The Price is Right or Days of Our Life’s, which she enjoyed watching every day. Some of her favorite pastimes included; listening to gospel music, watching NASCAR races, and working on crossword puzzles. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, JW Eberhart Sr, two brothers; Ronnie Patterson, Dennis Patterson, and sister, Betty Tyler.

Survivors include her son, Buddy Eberhart and his wife, Donna of Lithia Springs, GA, daughters; Idella Prather and her husband, Jeff of Dallas, GA, Angela Atkinson and her husband, Steve of Dallas, GA, brothers; Darrell Patterson and his wife, Jackie of Smyrna, GA, Dan Patterson and his wife, Lynn of Dallas, GA, sisters; Teresa Patterson of GA, Shirley Lynn and her husband, Curtis of Douglasville, GA, Phyllis Patterson of Dallas, GA, grandchildren; Jason Prather (Alicia), Carmen Rodriguez (Danny) Chris Atkinson (Nikki) Jeremy Prather (Camellia) Kayla Jones (Robert) Brittany Prather (Doug Crago) 15 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A private graveside service for Mrs. Eberhart will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Old Poplar Springs Cemetery with Jeff Prather and Jason Prather officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen, Doug Crago, Danny Rodriguez, Jason Prather, Brannon Patterson, Robert Jones, and Wesley Tyler.
