Peggy Ann Sheets, age 65, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010. She was born May 30, 1944, in Mountain City, TN, to the late, John & Mollie Horne. Mrs. Sheets was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Mountain City, TN. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Sheets; sons & daughters-in-law, Charles E. & Lisa Sheets of Bremen, GA and Steven & Jennifer Sheets of Dallas, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Junior & Wanda Horne of Aberdeen, MD and David & Myrtle Horne of Elkins, NC; sisters & brothers-in-law, Frances & Jay Baynard of Morganton, NC, Mary Smawly of Morganton, NC, and Carolyn & R. C. Woods of Mountain City, TN; grandson, Ben Sheets; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from the Mountain City Funeral Home, Mountain City, TN, with the service following at 8:00 PM. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 28, 2010 from the Phillippi Cemetery in Mountain City.
