Peter Romeo

Peter N. Romeo, age 70, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on July 26, 2024. Peter was born on November 12, 1953 in Bronx, New York, the son of the late Michael Angelo Romeo and the late Irene Daigle Romeo Shemanski.

Peter was passionate about his work in construction. He served as a superintendent for Young Contracting until his retirement. He proudly served in the United States Navy.

Peter's love for horses, dogs, the beach, fresh oysters, and history defined his passions and brought immense joy to his life. He cherished spending time with his wife Margaret, his children, and grandchildren. His kind and loving spirit touched many lives, and his presence will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Peter was also preceded in death by his son, Jesse Michael Romeo.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 17 years, Margaret Romeo; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jon Wesselmann; his grandchildren: Arielle Hoffmann, Danielle Wesselmann, and Sophia Wesselmann; his siblings: Michael Romeo, Sharon Munz, Suzie Mumma, and Linda Stefanik; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Robin and Dwight Howard; niece, Tori Lark; nephews: Stephen Munz, Shawn Munz, Shane Stefanik, Kyle Hoehne, Allen Lark and Christian Forbes.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 12:00 pm until the service hour.

Following the visitation, a memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm in Sam Clark Chapel with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. The service will be live streamed from our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/clarkfuneral.
