Ralph Anthony Graves, Sr. of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was born January 17, 1958 to the late George and Elsie Graves. Ralph served in the Air Force Reserves and was a life-long supporter of the military and its veterans. As a motorcycle enthusiast, he often rode with the Patriot Guard and American Legion Riders. Through his life, Ralph demonstrated his unwavering belief in God, his devotion to family and his patriotism. Ralph, with his quick smile and friendly demeanor, was well known in the community as a family man, loyal friend, and all-around great guy. All who had the opportunity to know him, loved him. He was the owner and operator of USA Roofing for more than 10 years. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Shaun Butler; sister, Gina Boardman; and brothers, Roy Graves, Hoyt Graves, Raymond Graves and Richard Graves.
Ralph’s memory will be honored and cherished by his wife, Dana Graves; his children, Melissa (Chuck) Hunt, Ralph “Anthony” (Gretchen) Graves, Jr., Miranda (Jason) Waldon, Christian Gibson, Victoria Gibson and Jeffery Houze, all of Dallas, GA; sisters, Rachel Florida of Michigan, Glenda Henagar of Florida, Wanda Herndon of Georgia; brothers, Ernie Graves of South Carolina, Ray Graves of New York; grandchildren, Dawson, Delaney, Charlee & Chett Hunt, Mackenzie & Kerregan Graves, Drake, Amayia, Asher & Kylen Waldon; and great-grandchild, Makiaah. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ralph’s memory to Military and Veteran Charities.
A memorial service will be held for Ralph on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 3:00 at Clark Funeral Home with Apostle Buddy Crum officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Graves' safe. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
