Ralph Barton Houghton, age 73, of Douglasville, GA, (Paulding County) passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009. He was born in Tyler, TX, on December 17, 1935, to the late Richard Lee Houghton and the late Nan Louise Houghton. Mr. Houghton was retired from the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include his brother, Bruce Houghton of Denver, CO; one niece; companion, Mary Frances Jones of Douglasville; and close friend, William E. “Buddy” Jones of Douglasville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009, at 3:00 pm, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Phil Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the service time.
