Reggie Mazeres

Reggie Mazeres, age 85, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019. He was born on February 15, 1934 in Metairie Ridge, LA, to his late parents; Gaston and Irma Mazeres. Mr. Mazeres was a professor for Tennessee Technological University for 38 years and was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA. He also bravely served in The United States Navy during the Korean War.  In his free time, Reggie was an avid golfer and a Rotary Club member. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Margaret Mazeres, Nettie Boudreaux, and his brother, Gaston Mazeres.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jeanette Mazeres of Dallas, GA, sons; Mike (Angie) Mazeres of Orlando, FL, Joe Mazeres of Nashville, TN, daughter, Susie (Glen) Hullander of Dallas, GA, sisters; Leverta (Lisa) Hines of Thibodaux, LA, Wanda Ketner of Livingston, TX, grandchildren; Anais (Will) Hodge of Nashville, TN, Adelai Wolfe – Mazeres of Nashville, TN, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Reggie Mazeres will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will follow the service at The Georgia National Cemetery at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to Tennessee Technological University in loving memory of Professor Mazeres.
