Reita “MA” Parks, age 66, of Dallas, GA, passed away on January 16, 2018. She was born on September 2, 1951, in Dearborn, MI, to the late Donald Chester & Catherine Allene Jones, and was preceded in death by her brothers, Danny Jones and John Jones.
Survivors include husband of 48 years, Wayne Parks of Dallas, GA; son, Jason Parks of Dallas, GA; daughter, Michelle & Michael Reece of Springville, TN; brothers, Chester & Becky Jones of Dalton, GA, and Brent Jones of Dallas, GA; sisters, Carolyn & Johnny Dorsey of Rocky Face, GA, Sandra & Randy Morris of Dallas, GA, Sherry Watson of Kennesaw, GA, and Teena & Rob Jones of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren, Cari Parks, Chadwick & Julia Parks, Shawn Reece, Austin Reece; great-grandchildren, Zoe Hanson, Lexi Hanson and Madison Hanson; special friend, Tara Lentz; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Smith officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. David Parks, Ricky Griffin, Dwayne Prather, John Jones, Jimmy Dorsey and Levi Walraven will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5 PM until 8 PM.
