Rene Butler

Rene Butler, age 62, of Dallas, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014. He was born June 17, 1951, in Austell, GA, and was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Geneva Green Butler, and his son, Chad Butler. Mr. Butler had worked as a construction supervisor and he was a member of Pumpkinvine Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of more than 40 years, Sheila Miller Butler; sister, Treva Hayes of Smyrna, GA; grandchild, Bryce Williams; mother-in-law, Shirley Miller of Dallas, GA; sisters-in-law, Gail Hollis Hayes & husband, Bobby of Kennesaw, GA, and Vickie & Randy Williams of Buchanan, GA; nieces and nephews, Matt (Amanda) Williams, Joshua (Starla) Williams, Jennifer (Bill) Popp and Tony Hayes; special friends, Sherry & Michael Gamel, Bryan & Kristie Ragsdale, Kenneth Thompson, Jerry Cole and Brad & Tori Thomason.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 3:00 PM, from Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Griggers, Mr. Kenneth Thompson and Mr. Bobby Hollis officiating.
