Reverend Jewell Cole

Reverend Jewell Edward Cole, age 89 of Hiram, GA passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Pearline Cole, his wife of 68 years Alta Faye Cole; daughters-in-law, Christy F. Cole and Ann Cole; son-in-law, Dee Holcombe; grandchildren, Joseph Holcombe and Jeremy Cole; brothers, Oscar Cole, Fred Cole, Arlee Cole, J.T. Cole, Grady Cole and Free Cole; sisters, Isabell Alexander, Inez Cole, Claudia Brown, Pearl Rutledge and Mary Lily Boling. Rev. Cole was a member of the U.S. Army and served in Guam.

Survivors include sons, James E. Cole of Rockmart, GA, Jerry and Donna Cole of Dallas, GA, Marcus and Vickie Cole of Rockmart, GA and Wallace Cole of Hiram, GA; daughters, Darlene Holcombe of Hiram, GA, Lydia and Guillermo Godinez of Hiram, GA, Naomi and Marty Harmon of Hiram, GA, Mary and Stanley Kitchens of Dallas, GA, Debra and Gerald Kitchens of Temple, GA and Dorthea and Ed Graham of Tallapoosa, GA; forty grandchildren, many additional foster grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Rush, Rev. Eric Cole, and Pastor Micha Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brent Cole, Daniel Godinez, Ryan Cole, Brandon Holt, Ben Holt and Zachary Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be: Blake Graham, Lee Cole, Michael Godinez, Nolan Harmon, Gunner Harmon, Carlin Cole, Chase Cole, Cody Stewart Eddie Graham, Lee Graham, and Aaron Graham. The family will receive friends on Monday evening November 14, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
