Reverend Dwight Fowler

Reverend Dwight E. Fowler, age 82, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born on November 12, 1933, in Dallas, GA, to the late Edward Russell Fowler & Mae Bell Bailey Fowler. Mr. Fowler entered the ministry in 1960, and has since pastored in Cobb County, Douglas County & Lithia Springs. He was a member at Morning View Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Gloria Fowler of Dallas, GA; sons, Darrell Fowler & wife, Betty of Douglasville, GA, Darin Fowler & wife, Marianne Fowler of Dallas, GA; daughters, Sharon Thomason & husband, Harold “Sype” of Dallas, GA, Crystal Newton & husband, Tim of Dallas, GA, Deion West & husband, Mark of Dallas, GA; brother, Harry Fowler & wife, Sandra of Dallas, GA; sisters, Nellie Vaughn of Dallas, GA, Myrland Hughes & husband, Don of Dallas, GA, Dell Standridge & husband, Ed of Cumming, GA; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Fowler will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at 2:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Shayne Newton, Reverend Richard Argo & Pastor Sammy Burgess officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, GA. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Newton, Drew Fowler, Brent Fowler, Brandon Fowler, Andy Mauldin & Josh Guidry. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Stacey Folds, Mark West, Sype Thomason & Kevin Folds.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 14, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
