Rev. Robert Hulsey

Rev. Robert Hulsey, age 69, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He was born on August 2, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. to the late Ferrel and Wynell Hulsey. Mr. Hulsey worked as a truck driver for The Department of Transportation for Cobb County for 36 years. He was a member of Riverside Church of God where he served as an Evangelist. Rev. Hulsey loved life and filled his free time singing, writing, playing and enjoying music. He enjoyed baseball and loved watching his grandsons play as well as dabbling in anything and everything he could get his hands on. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Clara Mae Hulsey and his brother, Billy Hulsey.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hulsey of Dallas, GA., two daughters; Trinity and Ryan Washington of Hephzibah, GA., Chastity and Dr. Kelly McKnight of Jacksonville, FL., brother, Ben and Kathy Hulsey of Austell, GA., Grandson, Nathaniel Butterworth and Taylor Hutson and his God Children, Pam Keaton and family as well as Lori and Ethan Cosper. Several nieces and nephews are also survived by him.

Funeral Services for Rev. Hulsey will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Riverside Church of God with Dr. Kelly McKnight, Rev. Michael Young and Rev. Thomas Blagg officiating. Rev. Hulsey will lie in state at the church from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
