Richard Warren Anderson, age 87, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012. He was born on April 8, 1924, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to the late Virgil and Edith Anderson, and was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann Anderson. Mr. Anderson was an United States Navy Veteran, worked as a Yard Master for Chicago North Western for over 30 years, and was a member of Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church.
Survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Sharon Anderson of West Allis, Wisconsin, Charles Anderson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Rex & Gail Anderson of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise & Randy Schultz of Dallas, and Roberta & Doug Ramthun of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; brother and sister-in-law, Manard & Rose Anderson of Beloit, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
