Richard Baxter Sr

Richard Douglas Baxter Sr., age 70, of Dallas, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was born on January 15, 1945 in Atlanta to the late Cleyonh and Marie Baxter. He was retired from General Motors where he worked as an electrician and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Richard Douglas Baxter Jr. and his girlfriend, Paula Kelsey of Taylorsville, GA, Kim & Jerry Speed of Dallas, GA, Briana Baxter of Las Vegas, Nevada and Brian Baxter of Kennesaw, GA; his sisters, Barbara Ann Atkinson of Dallas, Beverly Satterfield of Mableton, Linda & Kenny Barnes of Wedowee, AL, Brenda Baxter of Austell, Janice & Ronnie Hall of Austell and Deborah Baxter of Temple; eight granchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements. www.samclarkfuneralhome.com)
