Richard Lee "Pappy" Bennett

Richard Lee “Pappy” Bennett, age 84, of Hiram, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Tranquility at Cobb with his son, Dan by his side. He was born on March 17, 1936 in Atlanta, GA, to his late parents; Clarence Charles Bennett and Cecil Elizabeth Bennett. Richard worked for Allied Heat N’ Frost Inc. as an insulation installer for over 30 years and was a faithful member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Bennett was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Bennett.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his loving son, Dan Bennett of Hiram, GA.

In accordance to Mr. Bennett’s wishes, his body was cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
