Richard Frank Westkamp, age 80, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010. He was born on March 15, 1929, in Columbus, OH, to the late Raymond & Bertha Westkamp. He retired as a Fireman with 22 years of service from the City of Columbus, Ohio, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include, his wife of 57 years, Carol Louise Westkamp of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah & Ralph Montenaro of Dallas; aunt, Norma Westkamp Liston of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Michael & Alma Montenaro of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, and Tara Montenaro of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Omayra and Mia Montenaro, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
A mass will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Adrian Pleus officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Building Fund c/o St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 680 West Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132.
