Robert G. Atcheson

Robert Gene (Bob) Atcheson, age 87 of Dallas, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Kennestone Hospital.  He was born on February 12, 1933 in Dallas, GA.  He was a life-long resident of Paulding County, a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Southern Druggist Inc.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Bob was an avid traveler along with his wife Alberta, who also passed away on December 31, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Candler and Audie (McGraw) Atcheson and his wife of 61 years; Alberta Atcheson.

Mr. Atcheson is survived by his children; Cindy Patrick, son, Robyn (Sonya) Atcheson, daughter Chantel (Keith) Maxwell; sister Carolyn (Dr. Walter) Witkofsky; grandchildren; Brandon Holcombe, Derek (Whitney) Holcombe, Kayla (Matt) McCalla, Candler Atcheson, Aleta (Jack) Bucher, Wade Maxwell, James Maxwell, Bryan Patrick, Hunter Atcheson; geat-granchildren; Ashdon Holcombe, Jada McCalla, Emmett Holcombe, Malcolm McCalla, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bob was a life-long member of First United Methodist Church in Dallas, GA.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
