Robert Newton Johnston, 41, of Hiram, GA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. He was born on December 20, 1979 in Augusta, GA. He was a member of West Ridge Church. He was a bulk delivery driver for Coca Cola for 17 years.
He is survived by his wife, Fallon Bishop Johnston, and his three children Baylie Johnston, Jimmy Bishop, and Grayson Johnston; brothers, Russell Scott (Barbara) Johnston and Steven (Charlenne) Johnston; and sister, Valerie Dawn Shepard.
Mr. Johnston was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Coleman Johnston, Jr. and Deborah Newton Johnston, and his son, Chevy Johnston.
Mr. Johnston was a very hands-on husband and father who loved his wife and also his job. He adored his family, and his life revolved around them. He was kind and loving toward everyone. He was a huge NASCAR fan and a "foodie" who loved trying new foods and also loved driving trucks.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John P. Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 concerns or state restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing be practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Johnston safe.
