Tony Jones

Robert "Tony" Jones, age 75, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away November 1, 2023.  He was born on December 4, 1947, the son of the late Robert Jones and Carole Third Jones. Tony retired from Cobb County Fire Department following over 26 years of dedicated service as a Fireman and Paramedic. 

Tony's passion was Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He thoroughly enjoyed riding. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.  
In addition to his parents, Tony was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie Cook Jones. 

Tony is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ramona and Randy Hardy of Douglasville; two grandchildren, Dillon Woolf and his wife, Julie of Bremen, and Alexis Hardy of Jackson; three great-grandboys: Hudson Woolf, Cooper Woolf and River Smith; sisters, Roberta South and Rhonda Sherwood; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  

The funeral service for Tony will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia. Cobb County Fire Department Honor Guard will perform departmental honors. Mr. Jones's Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Clark Funeral Home's Facebook Page at the time of service.

The family requests those who attend the services to please dress casually and if you have a Harley Davidson to please ride your bike to honor Tony!

Tony will be cremated following the service.  He will be inurned in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville on a later date.
