Robert Leatherwood

Robert W. Leatherwood, age 71, of Dallas, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013. He was born in Douglasville, GA, on October 20, 1941, and was preceded in death by his parents, John & Essie Mae Leatherwood and his daughter, Vickie D. Minecci. Mr. Leatherwood was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the State of Georgia as an assistant auditor and was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Judy Leatherwood; brother & sister-in-law, Jimmy & Pat Leatherwood of Tennessee; sister, Jo Ann Allen of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Mikala Minecci and Shaylyn Minecci; great-grandchild, Jaxon Conlon; and nephew, Allen Griffin.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 31, 2013, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Earnie Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 30, 2013, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
