Robert Dean “Red” Ledford, age 59, of Carrollton, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016. He was born on June 13, 1957, in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lamar Reece, SR. Mr. Ledford was a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church and was self employed as a carpenter.
Survivors include his mother, Jacqueline Reece of Douglasville, GA; brother, Jerry Lamar & Linda Jean Reece, JR, of Bremen, GA; sisters, Julie & Tony Barreno of Dallas, GA, and Donna & Gary Buzzard of Dallas, GA; nieces and nephews, Amber, Daniel, Chris, Anthoney, Nathan, and Katelyn; many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at 11 AM, from Ridge Road Baptist Church, with Pastor Dwayne Hewitt and Brother Nathan Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Anthoney Harper, Mark Harper III, Daniel Reece, Chris Reece, George Lanning and Caleb Hewitt will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
