Robert “Mark” Tibbitts, age 48, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010. He was born on February 10, 1962, in Cartersville, GA. He was a member of Narroway Baptist Church and was self-employed in construction.
Survivors include, daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica & Peter Roeder of Dallas, Alicia & James Marshall of Powder Springs, and Melissa & William White of Dallas; step-sons, Scott & Michelle Brinkley of Dallas, and Dave & Angela Brinkley of Dallas; parents, Robert Eri & Ida Mae Tibbitts of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis & Vicki Tibbitts of Dallas; sister, Brenda Gail Davis of Collinsville, AL; thirteen grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at 11 a.m., from Narroway Baptist Church, with Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts, Reverend Todd Tibbitts, Reverend Merle Barron, and Reverend Hershel Tibbitts officiating. Dennis Tibbitts, Forrest Davis, Joshua Watson, Bobby Tibbitts, Dave Brinkley, William White, Kyle Jerris and Joseph Watson will serve as pallbearers. Joey Tibbitts, Mack Holcomb, Scott Brinkley, Richie Souther and Michael Shaw will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
