Robert Wayne Wallace, of Dallas, GA., passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019. He was born on January 13, 1956 in Atlanta, GA., to the late Raymond and Ruby Wallace. Mr. Wallace was recently retired from Atlanta Grotnes Machine Company where he worked as a machinist for 42 years.
Robert was a loving husband and best friend to his wife Joni. Together for over 43 years, they both loved spending their time fishing at Mexico Beach and relaxing in the mountains of Cashiers, NC. They were together always and never truly enjoyed a day unless it was with each other. Robert loved the Lord tremendously and with a servant’s heart.
He was a precious Dad to three children who will forever remember him as the number one man in their lives, always taking the time to stop and support them whenever it was needed. He was always generous with his time and he and Joni raised their children in a Christian home which they will forever be grateful for.
Robert was Papa to seven grandchildren and passed his love of his country and all things outdoors to them. They will miss him terribly but know that their Papa has shared with them memories they will always carry with them and take comfort knowing they will see him again in Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jack Wallace, his precious mother - in - law, Gladys Scott, and infant granddaughter, Marlee Wallace.
