Robert G. “Bobby” Weaver, age 72, of Woodland, AL, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2008. He was born February 1, 1936, to the late, Grover Weaver and the late, Mary V. Garner Weaver.
Mr. Weaver was a member of Narroway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Strickland Weaver; daughters, Debbie & Edmond Camp of Dallas, GA, Tammy Witt & Robbie Floyd of Dallas, GA and Brittany Weaver of Wedowee, AL; grandsons, Cody Kennedy and Raegan Camp.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee, AL, on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, from 4:30pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008, at 2:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Brothers Jimmy Tibbitts, Todd Tibbitts, and Hershel Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow in Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard McSherdian, Marlon Stewart, Tony Mewborn, Tony Whittenburg, Nolan Kell, Sammy Brinkley, and Cody Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Narroway Baptist Church, Clemmons Strickland, Joe Tibbitts, Eri Tibbitts, and Rev. Merle Barron. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2008, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
