Robert Allen Wisener

Robert Allen Wisener, age 70, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017.  He was born on August 1, 1946, in Dallas, GA, to the late William & Myrtice Wisener. Mr. Wisener was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, and retired from Austell Boxboard as a machine operator with 38 years of service.  Robert was full of life, enjoyed his children, grandchildren, the lake, fishing, music, playing the guitar and life. He was a member of the VFW Post 7402, enjoyed working with his hands, building things and was a great handyman.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sue Wisener of Dallas, GA; children, Tammy & Greg Rodgers of Cedartown, GA, Kim & John Norris, JR, of Dallas, GA, Chad Wisener of Canton, GA, Rich & Thisa Daniel of Dallas, GA, Tammy & Bill Driskell of Dallas, GA; brother, Ernest & Wanda Gail Wisener of Dallas, GA; sister-in-law, Annabell Wisener of Dallas, GA; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Mr. Garrett Rodgers, Sheriff Gary Gulledge, and Mr. Ronnie “Joe” Sweatt officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. Garrett Rodgers, Zachary Rodgers, Jaron Cole, Jordan Cole, Cody Driskell, Austin Driskell and Justin Kleindenst will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
