It is with both sadness and celebration of a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Robin Jean Webb, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed from us on January 24, 2025.
Born in Canton, Georgia on September 8, 1956. Robin was a faithful and dedicated branch manager at American General Finance for 30 years. Robin's spirit and commitment resonated through her work as she was a recipient of many professional awards, including a well deserved trip to Maui, HI. After retirement, she dedicated herself to being a devoted wife, mama, and nana.
Robin's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Julian (Mike) Webb, daughters, Christy (Jack) Reeves of Dallas, GA, Misty (Jason) Duren of Wedowee, AL, Julie Rhodes of Canton, GA, grandchildren Amber Teems, Breeana Lindsay, Jacob Rodgers, Lexie Duren, Jacob Duren, Jackson Duren, and Caleb Michael Duren, siblings, Greg (Robyn) Spence of Rome, GA, Brian (Mindi) Spence of Gallatin, TN, Lisa (Scott) Johnson of Douglasville, GA, brother-in-law, Ron (Debbie) Webb of Sautee Nacoochee, GA, five great granddaughters and a host of nieces and nephews.
Robin had a boundless love and generosity toward others. Of her many talents, Robin was an amazing cook, the hardest working woman ever known, and the best listener and advice giver. She was the kind of person who lived life with loyalty, tenacity, and grace. Robin regularly looked forward to trips to Navarre Beach. She admired God's creation, always from the top floor of The Pearl, while dolphin watching, seashell finding, and enjoying great seafood. She also cherished spending time relaxing and grilling out at their lake house on Weiss Lake.
Yet, her true legacy was being a follower of Jesus Christ. Her light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts and we take comfort in knowing we will see her again when we reach Eternity.
She will be immensely missed by all who knew her and especially her husband, who donned her his "Precious". Christy, her oldest, would choose her to be her mama, "in a million lifetimes". Baby daughter, Misty, repeatedly stated she was her, "most, best, favorite in the whole entire university".
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Greg Spence and Brian Spence, Jacob Rodgers, Jackson Duren, Jacob Duren, and Caleb Michael Duren, Spencer Johnson, and Michael Rega.
As we gather to remember Robin, let us fill the air with stories, laughter, and love, reflecting her vibrant spirit and the impact she had on all our lives.
Robin was preceded in death by her father and mother, Luke Jackson Spence, Sr. and Betty Jean Griffin Spence, brothers Luke Jackson "Jackie" Spence, Jr., and Thomas Keith Spence.
