Roby Manley

Roby G. Manley passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024. He was born on August 3, 1973, a son of Gene Manley and Deborah Lee Floyd in Atlanta, Georgia.

Roby was an accomplished Network Engineer at Eli Lilly, where his expertise and dedication were highly regarded. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, love of life and adventurous nature. He lived life to the fullest, cherishing every moment with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and lit up any room he walked into. He was known and loved by everyone who met him.

He is survived by his mother, Deborah Lee Floyd and his father, Gene Manley; his beloved brother, Brett Manley (Ashley Manley), Gary Lee, Bobby Lee (Jenn Lee), Josh Reece and Brandon Carlucci (Kristi Kool Carlucci); sisters, Robyn Monk and Nikki Wilson; his fiancé, Alison Akery and children; aunts, Vickie Lee (Mike Baker), Beverly Lee and Linda Lee; his great uncle, Gene Lee (Debbie Lee); his nephews, Jackson Manley and Austin Perry, his goddaughter, Ansley Carlucci; numerous beloved cousins and friends; and also by his dog Winston who was a constant companion and source of joy in his life.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Luke Garrett Lee Senior, his grandmother Melba Bell Lee and his uncle Luke Garrett Lee Junior.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, including his close friends and many others. In honoring Roby's memory, let us remember his vibrant spirit and the impact he made on those around him. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service for Roby will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kirk Waddell and Brother Thomas Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hiram, Georgia with Brett Manley, Brandon Carlucci, Josh Reece, Gary Lee, Chris Snellgrove, Austin Perry, Jackson Manley, and Garrett Lee serving as pallbearers.
