Roger Davidson

Roger Lee Davidson, age 63, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011. He was born on May 1, 1947, in Springfield, TN, and was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Lee Davidson, brothers, Paul Davidson and Ray Davidson. Mr. Davidson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Covington and was self-employed as a carpet installer.

Survivors include wife, Deborah Ann Davidson of Cedartown; sons and daughter-in-law, Roger Lee Davidson of GA, Daniel John Davidson of Michigan, Rodney and Jennifer Davidson of GA, Melvin Talley of GA, and Kevin Talley of GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Reginia Cates of AK; Margaret & Roger Bryan of GA, Amanda Jo Carter of GA, and Tracee & Joshua Tuck of AL; mother, Delma Margaret Davidson Miller of GA; brother and sister-in-law, William & Sandra Davidson, GA; sisters, Patricia Tant of GA; Maryann Cox of Florida; twenty-four grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and niece, Delma Spinks of GA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Bobby Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 31, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
