Ronald Brooks

Ronald James Brooks, age 64, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. He was born in Washington, DC, July 25, 1948, and was preceded in death by his parents, James & Lillian Brooks; brothers, James Nelson Brooks and Michael Brooks; and sister, Donnell Brooks. Mr. Brooks worked as a concrete mason for Ornamental Masonry in Jessup, Maryland and he was a warehouse foreman for Washington Flour Company.
Survivors include his wife, Janis A. Brooks; children, Howard & Kim Mitchell of Glendale, AZ, Payton A. & Nicole Mitchell of Baltimore, MD, Anthony & Michelle Wilson of Baltimore, MD, Andre G. Mitchell & Angela Shelton of Douglasville, GA, Stephanie Lynn Brooks of Baltimore, MD, Rhonda Brooks of Baltimore, MD, Ronald Brooks, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, Kelli Mitchell Crawford of Douglasville, GA, and Andrea J. Brooks of Lithia Springs, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Kevin & Beth Brooks of Baltimore, MD and Gelester & Mia Brooks of Baltimore, MD; sister, Sherry Brooks of Baltimore, MD; sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, from 12:00 PM until the service time. Final funeral services will be held in Baltimore, Maryland.
Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
