Ronald Anthony "Tony" Crowe

April 26, 1948 — January 18, 2023

Ronald Anthony "Tony" Crowe passed away on January 18, 2023. He was born April 26, 1948 to the late Joe and Dorothy Crowe. Tony was a United States Navy Veteran who was a Third Class Petty Officer. He took great pride in being a boatswain mate and serving his country in the Vietnam War with three tours of duty. He was a 50-year member of Latham Masonic Lodge #12. Tony was also a member of Legacy Baptist Church and he loved the Lord. At 14, he was saved and baptized and then in 1982, he became an ordained deacon. He also went on several mission trips with Builders for Christ. During his life, Tony enjoyed fishing and coon hunting. He loved going running or on bike rides. He was always on the go and never slowed down. Tony had a strong sense of love and compassion that he shared with so many while serving as a Post Commissioner in district #4. Tony was a leader in his community and had an incredible work ethic. He didn't know what it meant to not be working or serving others and he never stopped.

Tony was a caretaker of many and a stranger to none. He was always there even if you didn't know you needed him. His family always knew that they could count on him for anything and everything as he was their hero. Tony was a devoted husband to his wife, Cindy. He loved her very much and everything he did was for her. She truly was his life and they shared 53 years together. Tony was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and friend who will be so deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Crowe. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Crowe; his son, Ronald Anthony Crowe II and his wife, Amanda; his daughter, Patricia "Tricia" Ann Wright and her husband, Nathan; his siblings, Bonnie Crowe Welch, Brenda Crowe Arden, Jack Crowe, Patricia Ann (Donald) Reece; four grandchildren, Kayla Barrett, Anthony Crowe, Cindy Lou Crowe, Emily Wright; and two great-grandchildren, Adalynn Williams and Riley Cole.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
