Ronald Pas

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ronald Thomas Pas, 92, a cherished husband, devoted father, talented musician, and proud Army veteran. Mr. Pas was born on April 17, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, and peacefully departed on May 28, 2024, in Dallas, Georgia.

Ronald proudly served his country in the Army. Following his military service, Ronald worked in the trucking industry as a Rate Auditor.

Ronald was a dedicated family man, surviving relatives include his beloved wife of almost 71 years, Anne Pas; his children, Linda Pas, Anne (Thomas) Burke, John (Deborah) Pas, and Lori (Kenneth) Dubin; his sister, Judith Baranski.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Beyond his professional endeavors and military service, Ronald Pas found joy in music, showcasing his talent by playing multiple instruments and having a fondness for Country and Polka music. An enthusiastic sports fan, he cherished rooting for the Chicago White Sox in baseball and the Miami Heat in basketball. Mr. Pas was a devout Catholic, finding solace in his faith.

In his leisure time, Ronald was an avid gardener, animal lover, and remained active throughout his life, always seeking new ways to express his creativity and passion for life.

Ronald Pas will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lottie Pastewski; and his sisters Phyllis Sickinger, Eileen Basco, and Carolyn Kuesis.

Memorial service and ceremonies to celebrate the life of Ronald Thomas Pas will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish with Father Adrian Pleus.

May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who mourn his passing.
