Ronnie Dale Gravett

Mr. Ronnie Dale Gravett, age 65, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023.

Ronnie was born in Dallas, GA on July 7, 1957, son of the late Alfred Junior (AJ) and Jean Roper Gravett. He lived in Dallas all his life and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Chattahoochee Technical College after 30 years of service. Ronnie was a true sportsman and avid outdoorsman. His love for the outdoors was unmatched, except for his love for his family. He loved to hunt and fish, but from the time he was old enough to hold a fishing rod, his true passion was fishing. He was also a die-hard fan of Georgia Bulldogs football.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Rebecca (Becky) Braly Gravett, whom he married February 13, 1988; four children, Michael (Amanda) Gravett, Nathan (Randi) Hembree, Melanie Gravett, and Matthew Gravett; grandchildren, Andrea Gravett, Mattie Rae Gravett, Rand Hembree, and Rhett Hembree. He is also survived by his mother, Jean Gravett, and sister, Shirley (Bob) Bruton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Junior Gravett, and his brother, Jimmy Gravett.

He loved his family, especially his grandkids. He loved spending time with each of them. Ronnie was exceptionally authentic and never met a stranger. To know him was to love him.

The funeral service for Ronnie Dale Gravett will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating and Sam Braly giving the eulogy. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

The family of Ronnie will receive family and friends from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at Clark Funeral Home.

The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: Tommy Roper, Jimmy Robinson, Jared Smith, Nick Coppola, Wesley Bennett, and Kory Wilson.
