Ronnie Smith, age 61, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Tanner Medical Center in East Alabama. He was born on February 23, 1959 in Atlanta, GA, to his loving parents; Ronald Smith Sr. and Carolyn B. Smith. Ronnie owned Marble Smith Inc. for almost 20 years, where he worked as a professional stone craftsman. He was a faithful member of Westridge Church. In his free time, Ronnie greatly enjoyed fishing. His favorite place to fish was Lake Wedowee in Alabama. He also enjoyed being a member of Sweetwater Trophy Club, which he was for 32 years. Most importantly, Ronnie loved his family, his children, his special grandbaby and soon to be grandbaby. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wilson Smith Sr.

Survivors include his loving wife, Alecia Anne Smith of Hiram, GA, mother, Carolyn Smith of Hiram, GA, sons; Joe Smith and his wife, Taran, and grandson, Weston of Kennesaw, GA, Corey Smith and Jacque Alford of Kennesaw, GA, mother; Carolyn B. Smith of Hiram GA, sisters;  Renee Smith and her husband, Clay of Hiram, GA, Ramona Hines and her husband, Todd of Douglasville, GA.

A Private Graveside Service for Mr. Ronnie Smith will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020 with Pastor Jim Castle officiating. Due to the current circumstances regarding Coronavirus, the family wants to extend their love to each and everyone of Mr. Smiths family and friends that are not able to attend the service in person. A memorial service will be held at a later date after Mr. Smiths burial, and will be announced as soon as they are finalized.

In memory of Ronnie Smith the family has requested for all memorial contributions be made to the Benevolence Fund at Westridge Church online or please make checks payable to Westridge Church Benevolence Fund and mail directly to Westridge Church, 3522 Hiram Acworth Hwy, Dallas GA 30157.
