Rosealie Penland

Rosealie T. Penland, age 85, of Dallas, GA, passed away, Sunday, January 20, 2013. She was born September 5, 1927, in Norwalk, CT and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Mary Ellen Scalisi; husband, Harold Penland, Sr. and son, Harold Penland, Jr. Mrs. Penland was a teacher for the Cobb County School System for 17 years and she was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas Penland, Patrick Penland and Peter Penland all of Dallas, GA; daughters & sons-in-law, Diane & Don Long of Kennesaw, GA, Hester & Jackie Brooks of Hayesville, NC, Deborah & Martin Abbott of Dallas, GA and Phyllis Howell of Kennesaw, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Joseph & Kitty Scalisi of Norwalk, CT; sister & brother-in-law, Barbara & Bob Brown of Ocala, FL; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 12:00 PM, from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will follow in Pineridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
