Roy Larry Wade, 74 of Dallas, GA, Passed away Tuesday November 23, 2021.
Roy served our country with pride in the Army SP5 from 1966-1970, and in Vietnam from 1967-1968. After his time in the military, he began his career with Georgia Gas Equipment in 1970 as a truck driver and later became the Warehouse Manager, until he retired many years later. Roy also worked in the janitorial business with Mableton Janitorial Service where he cleaned many local businesses.
Roy was born in Austell, Georgia to the late Doris Mildred Melton Wade and Paul Travis Wade. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Estelle Wade Fuller, and brothers, Clifford Walter Wade, Edward Travis Wade, and James Max Wade.

Roy was blessed with 3 children
Daughter: Angela & Tim Nunn of Kennesaw, Georgia
Son: David & Debbie Wade of Dallas, Georgia
Son: Rodney Wade of Villa Rica, Georgia
Roy was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren whom he was always very proud of:

Roy also had many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
Roy loved his family, it was everything to him. He enjoyed family cookouts, traveling when he was able, camping, hunting, he enjoyed just being outdoors.
He enjoyed taking his chances at the casinos when he was able.
Roy was a regular weekly customer at Texas Roadhouse in Hiram Georgia for the past 11 years where they knew his meal choice and his seat as soon as he walked through the door. He was listed as a Legendary Bar Regular. He made many lasting friendships with other customers as well as staff members.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, GA 30141, from 10:00am until 11:00am. A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will follow at 11:00am. A Military Honors Service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 12:30pm at Georgia National Cemetery, 2025 Mt. Carmel Church Lane, Canton, GA 30114.
