Ruby Jordan

Ruby Edna Jordan, age 80, of Tallapoosa, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. The daughter of the late William Riley Smith and the late Ester Mae Smith, she was born May 31, 1927, in Maiden, NC. Mrs. Jordan was a homemaker and a member of Yorkville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Joan Worton of Cedar Park, TX, Paulette Harris of Rockmart, and Bonnie Crowe of Tallapoosa; sons, Edward Stoe of Hiram and Forrest Jordan of Carrollton; brother, Riston Smith of Powder Springs; sisters, Pearl Gann of Tampa, FL and Nora Warren of Lithia Springs; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2007, at 2:00pm from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend L. A. Tapp officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
