Rudolf Baumann, age 84, of Dallas, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was born in New York City, July 28, 1925, and was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Emilie Baumann, and his wife, Irene Ann Baumann. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Baumann was a Corporal in the U. S. Marine Corp. He was retired as a letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Gail & Thomas Hazelton of Hiram, GA; brother, Fred Baumann of New York; grandchildren, Jodi Davis, Jayme Heinemann, and Jason Weber; great-grandchildren, Cody Brown and William Weber. The family wishes to thank Mr. Baumann’s good friend, Mary Ann Ellis for her friendship and kindness, and the staff at Wellstar Paulding Hospital.
The body was cremated and services will be held at a later date.
Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
