Ruth Manning

Ruth G. Manning, age 79, of Dallas, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011. She was born January 21, 1932, in Atlanta, GA, to the late, Leland S. & Hazel Matilda Key Garner. Ruth was retired from Quality Park Envelope Company after 32 years of service, as a machine operator. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Winford L. Manning, Jr. & wife, Wanda of Hiram, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Becky Haney of Woodstock, GA, Jean & Frank Sharkey of Kempner, TX, and Vickie E. Manning of Dallas, GA; sisters, Betty Jean Matthews of Decatur, GA and Virginia Godfrey of Dallas, GA; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 1, 2011, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend James Cook, Reverend Jason Loudermilk and Reverend William James Cook officiating. Interment will follow in North Atlanta Memorial Park in Dunwoody, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 31, 2011, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
