Biography Ruth Tyner, age 76, of Dallas, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. She was born on January 17, 1936 in Johnstown, PA to the late Everett and Lillian Evans. Mrs. Tyner was a member of Westside Christian Church in Dallas and was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Tyner.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Kenneth Tyner; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina & Adam Roark of Beijing, China; a brother and sister-in-law, John & Carol Evans of Cape Coral, FL; sisters, Betty Barlow of New Lisbon, Indiana and Rosemary Custer of Johnstown, PA; grandchildren, Alyssa and Austin Roark; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Pastor Larry Musick officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements. www.samclarkfuneralhome.com
